Binding: France, 18th-century red morocco decorated with triple gold fillets, a small gold fleuron at each corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled end-papers;  gilt-edged leaves;  turquoise silk bookmark.   Size:  276 x 208 mm.
Leaf size: 267 x 197 mm.
Annotations: Cropped early ownership inscription on 1/2r beginning “Ego ...”;  occasional early marginal annotations in Latin, “nota” marks and underlining.
Decoration: Five-line initial “R” on 1/2r supplied in red and blue with reserved white;  other initials and paragraph marks supplied throughout in red or blue;  capitals washed in yellow.
Imperfections: Wanting 1/10 and the first and final blank leaves.
