Binding: 18th-century calf;  gold-tooled spine;  sprinkled red-edged leaves;  front flyleaf has fleur-de-lys watermark, rear flyleaf has countermark “IV”.   Size:  314 x 220 mm. 
Leaf size: 305 x 212 mm. 
Annotations: 16th-century marginal annotations in Latin (mainly extracting keywords), “nota” marks, pointing hands and underlining in gatherings a-c and p-y;  on π1r (title-page) a 17th-century(?) shelfmark or inventory number “no xlv” followed by an unread monogram. 
Decoration: Initials supplied throughout in alternate blue and red;  capital strokes, paragraph marks and underlining of epistle headings supplied throughout in red.
