Provenance: Jacques de Malenfant, Seigneur de Preyssac (ca.1530 - ca.1603): inscriptions in Greek on front pastedown “εκ τῶν βιβλιών Ιακώβου του Μαλινφαντίου Τολωσάνου ἐν Λουτεκία αφξδ [i.e. 1564]”, Malenfant’s motto “ἄνω κὰι μῂ κάτω”, and a quotation in Greek from Demosthenes; see also Binding.
