Annotations: Copious marginal annotations in Italian in a 16th-century hand, almost all heavily washed out, in Inferno and Purgatorio (less frequent in Paradiso);  on d6, d7 and l4, patches of light blue staining over sections of faded marginalia probably resulting from the trial use of a chemical reagent in the 19th century;  occasional “nota” marks and manicules.
Decoration: None.
Imperfections: Wanting the blank leaves ā1 and PP12.
