  • Sign both copies (retain one copy for your records) and return the other to the Human Resources Department by way of acceptance and to enable salary payment.
  • Your acceptance must be returned within seven days.

Complete your Right to Work Check

  • If you do not have one of the documents highlighted above, you may find it helpful to consult the You may wish to consult the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) checklist
  • A copy of your documentation will be copied and securely retained for audit purposes.

Supply education certificates

  • In addition, if applicable, please bring along your original qualification / degree certificates for verification.

Review the Probation Policy

It is a condition of employment that all new colleagues serve a probationary period of six months, and our Probation Policy has been designed to help line managers provide support to all new joiners during their first six months in post.

It’s important to note that if the University has not been able to conduct a right to work check, prior to your employment, this could delay your start date and your contract of employment may have to be amended.
