Within the first three months of taking up post you should meet with your Head of School/ Director of Institute to set objectives to the forth coming year and your Probationary Objectives form should be submitted to the HR PPR team.

As the anniversary of your start date approaches you should meet with your Head of School/ Director of Institute and mentor to review your years’ work and set objectives for the forth coming year and this should be documented on the appropriate Probationary Report (Year 1, Year 2, or Year 3). Your objectives should be detailed, meaningful and quantifiable and should follow the SMART model with a clear strategy.

An annual report should be submitted every year on your start date anniversary until the end of your length of probation as stated in your contract.
