15 March 2021- UofG Rector Elections 2021
We hope this email finds you well.
The University is restarting the election of the new University Rector. We postponed the original election period last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Rector is elected by registered students of the University, and the main role of the Rector is to help represent the interests of the University's students and work closely with the SRC.
The nomination period is now open, and nominations are to be submitted to the Nomination Court by 12noon on Wednesday 31 March 2021.
The election will be conducted electronically from 9am on 20 April until 4pm on 21 April 2021.
For more information about the nomination process, including the election rules, go to our Rector Election online pages.
For general information about the Rector, please visit the Student Representative Council’s online pages.
