Online learners

The Careers Service is pleased to offer on-line learners general careers advice where possible. Please note that our labour market expertise is limited to the UK.

We may be able to signpost you to available online resources if we cannot help you directly but this cannot be guaranteed.

For this reason, if you require careers help, please first check the resources on our website.

If this is insufficient, please e-mail careers enquiries stating your GUID and the nature of your enquiry and we will respond within 5 working days.

As an Online Learner, you need to register for an Online Learner account on Glasgow Careers. Please register with your full name given on My Campus and university email address.

Accessibility Statement

The Careers Service is committed to promoting equal opportunities and we aim to offer an accessible and inclusive service to all our students and recent graduates.

We are based centrally on campus in the Fraser Building, Level 2. Our building has a main lift to access all levels and a platform lift for levels 2 and 3. This lift has controls within reach of a wheelchair user. Level 2 is directly accessible from the pedestrianised section of Hillhead Street via a ramp entrance with a moderate gradient.

For a detailed accessibility summary statement for our building, please go to https://www.accessable.co.uk/venues/fraser-building-houses-various-student-services

Our Diversity in the Workplace web content links you to organisations and resources which detail equal rights and entitlements in the workplace and in the recruitment process.

Our one-to-one and group events on campus are held in accessible venues whenever possible and we try to anticipate need. However, if you experience an issue with physical access anywhere on campus, please email physicalaccessissues@gla.ac.uk. A member of Estates and Buildings staff will be able to help.

If you have any additional support requirements to enable you to participate in a Careers event (such as a sign language interpreter or handouts in an alternative format), please contact us in advance.

For events held off campus, please contact the event organisers to discuss accessibility and requirements.
