John MacIntyre was born in Glasgow in 1857. Educated: Glasgow University. Qualifications: MB, CM, 1882. Surgeon for Diseases of Throat and Nose, Glasgow Royal Infirmary; Dean of Medicine, Anderson’s College of Medicine, Glasgow; private practice specialising in throat ailments of actors and singers; pioneer radiologist. Died: Glasgow, 1928.
