Planning your Arrival

Travellers arriving in Scotland are NOT able to use the test and release scheme which only applies to travellers arriving to and remaining in England.

This means that students who are asymptomatic should not arrange a COVID test. All travellers arriving to Scotland must isolate for a period of 10 days unless your country of origin is listed as exempt.

Country of origin which are exemptions from quarantine

This includes whether you can use the e-gates when you enter the UK and information on what will happen when you enter the UK.

If you are not eligible to use the e-gates you will need to go through Border Control when you arrive.

Remember to carry your passport in your hand luggage so you can get to it easily when going through immigration or the e-gates!
