A simple app for public transport
Rodrigo's ambition
My name is Rodrigo Copetti. I’m from Spain, currently living in Airdrie, and studying 3rd year Computing Science.
My ambition is to create a service for cities that will assist users and tourists to use public transport easily.
There are multiple resources available for people who want to travel by public transport, but none of them have been designed to be simple and intuitive to use. To address this, I have created a prototype of my idea: an app for smartphones that I call Bus ‘n’ Tour.
This app can help any person to plan their journeys using the bus without having to learn anything about the bus routes. The user can simply select where they want to go and the app will assist them. Moreover, since the destination can also be point of interest, it happens to be a useful tool for tourists as well.
I would like to implement my prototype in a city or town, so I plan to offer this service to any council or company that may need it.
