Edwin Morgan: An Eardley On My Wall

11 June - 18 July 2021
Hunterian Art Gallery
Admission free - book tickets

Edwin Morgan: An Eardley On My Wall features thirteen works from the personal collection of Scottish poet Edwin Morgan (1920–2010). The selection once decorated the walls of his Anniesland flat and includes works by Scottish painters including Joan Eardley, Alasdair Gray and John Byrne.

Morgan presented his collection to The Hunterian in 2004 and the works on display explore three strands of Morgan's life: creativity, national identity and sexuality.

This much anticipated focus exhibition was created to celebrate what would have been Morgan's 100th birthday. An online version was created in response to the pandemic and is available to view now.
