The next talk in our series of Science Showcase Lunchtime Talks will be:

Just a little light this side of darkness by Dr Daniel Giovannini.

Dr Giovannini is a postdoctoral research assistant at the Optics Groups in the University's School of Physics and Astronomy with an interest in photons, which are the fundamental particles of light. Their fascinating, sometimes baffling properties, can be explored through several experimental techniques that give us some insight into the quantum world.
