Join Hunterian Curator Peter Black on a tour of the Turner’s Rhine Journey exhibition. The exhibition centres on a recently rediscovered Turner watercolour, a romantic view of the town Bacharach and Stahleck on the Rhine, which the artist visited exactly two hundred years ago in 1817. The Hunterian’s Turner is accompanied by a small selection of topographical watercolours by Adam, Constable, Varley, Ruskin and Whistler.
