Susan FergusonKey Responsibilities
‌Susan Ferguson is part of the senior management team of The Hunterian and has strategic responsibility for marketing, audience development and education. She also has strategic oversight of the Hunterian Friends.

Short Biography
‌Susan Ferguson joined The Hunterian in 2002. Immediately prior to her appointment she worked with corporate leaders and key influencers across the Scottish Enterprise network on a major culture change programme and specifically on the implementation of a new brand and organisational values. She started her career in economic development working for Scotland's largest Enterprise Trust, Glasgow Opportunities, helping small companies across all sectors with staff training and development plans. Susan then moved into Higher Education working with academic colleagues across all Faculties to market CPD courses to industry and commerce. As Deputy Director, Research and Enterprise, at the University of Glasgow (1996 - 2000) Susan's key responsibility was the development of business plans to support a range of key infrastructural and commercial partnership projects.

Susan graduated in 1985 with an Honours degree in Economics and Politics. In 1992 she graduated with Distinction from the University of Glasgow Business School after completing an MBA. She has extensive experience of direct training, including strategic marketing to new business owners and tutoring undergraduates on marketing and organisational behaviour. Susan is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Susan is a previous Chair of industry group Glasgow's Leading Attractions and was a founding member of the Glasgow Welcomes Board, an award winning customer service initiative.
