Veterinary Medicine Tours

Visit our Veterinary Medicine campus

Tours of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the Garscube Campus are available at certain Open Days in 2019 (dates TBC).

Representatives from the Vet School will be present at all Open Days throughout the year and will be happy to have a chat with you to answer any questions you may have - just pay them a visit at the subject stands.

Further information regarding regitsration for the tours will be available in 2019.

What will the tours involve?

The tour will last approximately two hours (inclusive of travel) and will include:

  • Bus transfers to and from the Main Campus to the Garscube Campus
  • Tour of the Veterinary Medicine Campus and Facilities

All tours are the same, so students only need to book one tour time.

When are the tours?

The tours will be available at most Open Days in 2019.

Departure times and locations will be confirmed closer to the date of the event.

You must remember to collect your ticket during your allocated tickt collection time. Email confirmation will not be accepted for admittance onto the tour.

Who are the tours for?

Tours are aimed at prospective students who are considering studying Veterinary Medicine. Spaces are very limited and so we kindly ask that only students who are considering applying to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow register.

Please note a maximum of two tickets per student are permitted (one student and one family member/guardian).

How can I book tour tickets?

Registration will open closer to the date of the event.

You must book tickets in advance for the tour. Spaces are limited so we suggest that you book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note a maximum of two tickets per student are permitted (one student and one family member/guardian) in order to give as many students as possible the opportunity to visit the Vet School.

Please note: as there are no tours of the Vet School at October Open Day, you are not required to complete a separate registration.

Cancelling your tickets

Should you no longer require your ticket(s) please get in touch to let us know by e-mailing If you cannot attend your ticket will be valuable to other students who wish to participate.
