Welcome points
Our staff and students at the Welcome Point and Welcome Marquee will be happy to offer you guidance and support throughout your visit. You can pick up brochures, prospectuses and other useful literature here.
Academic subject talks and stands
Our subject talks will give you detailed information about your chosen discipline and what the next few years might look like if you choose to study at the University of Glasgow. You can also chat with our academic staff at their subject stands throughout the day. A representative for most degree programmes will be present: including Medicine, Veterinary and Dentistry. Talks usually last 30 minutes unless otherwise stated.

Student life
There are plenty ways for you to get involved in student life which will help you get the most out of your time as a student. Chat to current students to find out more about our Sports Association, University Unions, our Students' Representative Council and many more clubs and societies.
Campus tours
Campus Tours usually take place on June and October Open Days. They are student-led tours and there is no need to book them,just arrive at the meeting point according to the Open Day brochure. If you are unable to attend any of the Open Days you can book a Campus tour online: there are several dates/times scheduled:
Accommodation tours
Accommodation Tours take place at all our Open Days. There is no need to book, just arrive at the meeting point according to the Open Day brochure. You can also visit the Accommodation Services stand to find out more about the University’s accommodation facilities.
General tours
Library tours, University Union tours, museum tours and city tours take place throughout our Open Days.
The Open Day brochure and app will include tour timings and departure points and will be available to download closer to the date of the event.
Directions and help
Our friendly student ambassadors will be happy to help you find your way around our inspiring campus. Look out for them in colourful UofG t-shirts.
