James Wat School of Engineering - Tour of the Ultrasonics Lab
Meeting Point: 1.45pm at Engineering stand in GUU Dining Room, Level 1

Medical and Industrial Ultrasonics (MIU) research ranges from novel piezoelectric material characterisation, microelectronics and transducer fabrication, through to application development, including medical diagnosis and therapy, and non-destructive testing. The tour will be conducted by active researchers from the labs, describing equipment operation and function, showing sample results and providing demonstrations.

Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology & School of Psychology Tour
Meeting Point: 1.45pm INP Stand, GUU Drawing Room, Level 1

The tour will include a visit of several brain imaging and psychology labs. Participants will see the MRI & MEG scanners, a TMS lab, as well as body and face capture systems. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with members of each lab.

This tour is run jointly with the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences.

Tour of the Kelvin Building facilities led by Professor Douglas MacGregor.
