How do we make gaming a greener industry? Join us for a boundary-busting, creative hackathon as we brainstorm new strategies for making board and video games more environmentally conscious. Led by the Games and Gaming Lab at the University of Glasgow, we’re calling on the collective ideas and experience of local gaming groups, businesses, and charities, to challenge established thinking and become part of a greener gaming solution.

This session is a hybrid event based on a ‘hub and spoke’ set-up, where individuals and small gather in person in small groups to connect virtually to a central ‘hub’ hosted by the Games and Gaming Lab.

We are delighted to be working with partners including New York University (NYU) Game Center and The Tinderbox Collective for this event.

Presented as part of The Dear Green Bothy, a collaborative cultural programme from the University of Glasgow’s College of Arts showcasing creative and critical responses to climate emergency.
