The most recent report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) demonstrates that net GHG emissions must be reduce to Zero in order to stabilize global temperatures and reach the Paris Climate Change Agreement goals. Many businesses around the world are taking this responsibility and dialing up their efforts to tackle the climate emergency through defining and implementing Net zero strategies. Amir will look at the role of business in combating the climate change, and how they are doing so through setting science-based targets and through signing up to 1.5°C Ambition pledges.
