Awareness of climate change and planetary collapse has increased in the last decades, but the history of climate change is far longer. Global environmental history is central to our understanding of the both the deep causes and wide ranging consequences of climate change on our societies and ecologies. 

Join us for two panel sessions which bring together leading experts in global environmental history to introduce their work and how historical research is important to the struggle against climate change.
