I am also a professional Solo Artist/Band Artist working on the gig circuit
Tell us about your career journey so far
Since school I have remained with my love of science throughout including Graduating from Durham University in 2009 with BSC Medical Anthropology
What was your favourite subject in school and why?
Science with particular reference to Biology with my favourite areas being Human Physiology/Human Biology and Botany due to being brought up within a science background
What subjects/qualifications are useful for your role?
Definitely science for all areas including some design/Technology and Engineering experience for roles in the RAF but science being the main factor in all
What is a normal day in your role like?
My role is very rewarding seeing my cadets flourish in their level of skills and education linked to everything aviation including the STEM course itself which are both classroom based as well as being outdoor based with training taking place both on our RAF Air Cadet Squadrons as well as RAF Bases and local airfields to commence flying training as well as supporting and attending air shows as well as visiting air museums.
What's your favourite thing about your job?
Seeing my students flourish and making huge leaps with regards to my own Personal Development.
Can you suggest an activity that could be done at home that illustrates an aspect of your work?

Yes building aircraft models both static and radio controlled, watching videos on you tube for both this and to see if we offer something that you would like to do that you have never done before.
