An exciting time for the STEM Ambassador programme in Scotland.

We are delighted to announce that from 1 April 2021 the three STEM Ambassador Hubs in Scotland are joining forces to become one “STEM Ambassadors in Scotland” Hub. This new unified Hub will be managed by SSERC who are based in Dunfermline, and combines the excellent work already undertaken by SAE@SSERC, Aberdeen Science Centre, and us at Science Connects.

Aileen Hamilton will be National Partnerships Manager, and Ewa Monteith-Hodge will be Programme Manager for the West of Scotland. You will continue to be supported in the way you have been up until now.

From 1 April you can contact us using the emails below:

General enquiries: stemambassadors@sserc.scot
Aileen Hamilton: aileen.hamilton@sserc.scot
Ewa Monteith-Hodge: ewa.monteith-hodge@sserc.scot

The other Hub staff will include:

Programme Manager, North of Scotland: Debbie Mathers
Programme Manager, East of Scotland: Kerri Haynes
Administrator: Kimberly Dalton

We are excited about the opportunities this offers teachers, practitioners and community group leaders who work with us, such as further collaboration with the Young STEM Leader Programme, and we look forward to engaging with you both at a local and a national level.

Please see the announcement on the SSERC website for more information, and look out for us sharing more details in the coming weeks. We can’t wait to get started!
