Space Week 2020 - Ideas, activities & competitions
World Space Week takes place 4 to 10 October and running a Space Week is a great thing to do any time of year. The context of space is a good way to engage young people with science and technology as it links to so many aspects of the primary and secondary curriculum for all year groups.
For a guide to help you plan and run your own space week, space-themed challenges, as well as thousands of free resources to engage kids in science and technology, brought to you from the European Space Education Resource Office for the UK (ESERO-UK), head to the STEM Learning website.
Remember that registrations for the CanSat competition close on 10 October! This competition provides a unique opportunity for pupils aged 14-19 to have their first practical experience of a real space project. Plus it's open to every school & college in the UK.
