Applications for the 2020 STEM Inspiration Awards are open. Deadline: 27 September
The STEM Inspiration Awards recognise and celebrate individuals, organisations and clubs working to inspire young people in science, technology, engineering and maths. We want to celebrate the initiatives which make a real impact, sparking an enthusiasm for STEM subjects and careers.
For 2020 applications for both the ENTHUSE Celebration Awards and the STEM Inspiration award are open concurrently. Shortlisted candidates for both awards will be invited to a regional awards event in November 2020, giving them to chance to network with other individuals at the forefront of STEM education and engagement. The 2019 national winners enjoyed a visit the world-renowned CERN in Switzerland, sponsored by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). You can see the full list of 2019 winners here.
Applications for the 2020 awards are now open and you can make a nomination for yourself, another person or an organisation. You can find the award categories, plus application forms and guidance below. Please return your completed application form to firstname.lastname@example.org
The deadline for applications is Sunday 27 September 2020.

INSPIRATIONAL STEM EMPLOYER
This award recognises outstanding commitment to STEM by an employer of any size, particularly where this is embedded within the culture of the organisation.
OUTSTANDING STEM CLUB
Celebrating sustained and long-term engagement with young people through a STEM Club.
OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO WIDENING PARTICIPATION, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION IN STEM
Recognises individuals, groups, organisations and companies, including further and higher education, who have encouraged diversity and inclusion within STEM.
INSPIRING STEM TECHNICIAN
This award is aimed at apprentices and technicians working in STEM industries who have a technical, non-graduate background and have used this to help inspire the next generation. If you are working as a school or college STEM technician, please consider applying for the ENTHUSE Celebration Award for school and college technicians and support staff.
OUTSTANDING STEM AMBASSADOR
Celebrating those with a long-standing body of engagement with the STEM Ambassadors programme, recognising achievement over a prolonged period.
OUTSTANDING NEW STEM AMBASSADOR
This award celebrates those who have recently joined the programme and have already displayed enthusiasm and commitment as a STEM Ambassador.
