Science Connects is hosting a Teacher / STEM Ambassador Networking event in association with Royal Society of Chemistry on:

Thursday 25th February 4:30-6:30pm  at the University of Glasgow

This event is for Secondary school teachers and STEM Ambassadors who have an interest in Chemistry.

As the oldest chemical society in the world, The RSC is proud to be celebrating their 175th anniversary during 2016 and want to mark this milestone by recognising the rich heritage and community of which we're all a part. To help celebrate the 175th anniversary, RSC members and supporters around the world are asked to give 175 minutes of their time to chemistry, through outreach or supporting communities.

With the 175 Pledge in mind, the local Royal Society of Chemistry Co-ordinator is keen to let STEM Ambassadors and Teachers know what is available from the RSC for schools and will bring along the latest activity kits for you to try out at this twilight event. Hopefully this will inspire Ambassadors to contribute to 175 minutes!

This event will give you the opportunity to meet and network with Chemistry related STEM Ambassadors and Teachers and make connections to inspire pupils in magical world of Chemistry! It is open to RSC and non-RSC members.

Quickly register now to ensure you have a place.
