STEMNET Awards 2015

Nominations for the 2015 STEMNET Awards are now open. Every year we are amazed by the inspirational work that is taking place. Every person nominated (with their address details included) receives a certificate and those that are chosen to be finalists are invited to the Awards Ceremony at the House of Lords in Parliament on October 6 2015. At the Ceremony the winners in each category are announced and winners receive an amazing trip to CERN sponsored by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).  This year the trip will be in early December 2015.

STEM Ambassadors and Teachers can nominate each other or themselves, go to: and complete the simple process to be part of the STEMNET Awards.

Schools can be nominated in three different categories:

• STEM CLUB AWARD This award recognises those STEM Clubs that have proactively engaged with the STEM Clubs Programme for the benefit of their pupils and schools. Nominate a STEM Club.

• THE JOAN SJØVOLL STEM LEADERSHIP AWARD This award recognises the dedication of a school leader who has driven forward the STEM agenda in their school. Nominate a STEM Leader.

• STEM TEACHER This award recognises those teachers who have shown a strong commitment to STEM for the benefit of their pupils and school. Nominate STEM teacher. 

‌There are also awards for STEM Ambassadors and STEM Employers. Schools who have been inspired by a STEM Ambassador or an Employer can also nominate them for an Award to recognise their significant voluntary contribution to the STEM Ambassadors Programme.
