A Sense of Wonder: A Film about James Clerk Maxwell

A Sense of Wonder, Thursday 12th March 2015, 6-7.30pm, Dumfries House

One of the first public showings of a new film from local filmmakers Kenny Caldwell (from Auchinleck) and Rab Wilson (from New Cumnock).

James Clerk Maxwell is hailed as the father of modern physics, a reference to his transformative theory of electromagnetism. This new film looking at the Galloway based scientist’s life was followed by a discussion with Glasgow University physicists. Commissioned by Wigtwon Festival Company and supported by the Dumfries & Galloway Council Stewartry Area Committee.
