This summer school at Nankai University in the city of Tianjin is an international short-term program that provides students with the opportunity to learn about modern China and Chinese culture.
Participants will attend lectures on a range of topics related to modern China, including culture, politics, economics, business and technology. The program will also include visits to governmental, economic and cultural sites.
The programme will run from 14 July to 29 July 2019. The deadline for applications is 5pm, Thursday 30 May 2019.

- University of Glasgow students.
- Aged 18 and above.
- Non-Chinese national.
For successful applicants, Nankai University will cover the cost of accommodation, meals and transport during the duration of the programme in China.

- Travel insurance.

- A personal statement.
- One reference letters.
- Academic transcripts (or your highest degree certificate if you have been awarded one).
- A copy of your passport and your student card.
