Glasgow Science Festival run a variety of projects throughout the year including the main festival in June. To enable us to deliver these projects we recruit a team of reliable and motivated volunteers who can get involved in many different aspects; from demonstrating science activities at our family days and community events, welcoming guests to evening events and helping behind the scenes - generally making sure our events run smoothly! We offer training opportunities for the volunteers in advance of the festival and 'on-the-job' training to ensure that they get the most from the experience.
For insurance purposes, our volunteers must be current University of Glasgow staff and students, aged 18+.
The deadline for volunteering for the Glasgow Science Festival 2024, is 8th March 2024. We will be in touch about your application after that date.
