A Tea, A Talk & A Tunnock’s: The Digital Wave at the Govan Stones
Dr Megan Kasten reveals Strathclyde's early medieval interlace. The world-class collection of early medieval carved stones at Govan Old has recently been recorded and analysed using 3D imaging techniques.
These digital approaches have revealed worn waves of Viking-age interlace, yielding new insights into the significance of Govan's recumbent cross-slabs in Scotland’s early medieval history.
