Alasdair Wallace: Oscillate, Vacillate, Orbit & Revolve
Preview: Thursday 06 June, 6pm - 8pm
Exhibition Runs: 07 June - 28 July 2019

This exhibition of new paintings and prints by Alasdair Wallace represents his first major solo show in Glasgow in over twenty years. An important strand of this new work examines the parallel processes across painting and printmaking, where they overlap and diverge and how they can inform each other. The influence of his recent experimentations in printmaking has led to his use of systematic painting techniques alongside his more usual instinctive and reactive approach."

Andrea Cardow
Preview: Thursday 06 June, 6pm - 8pm
Exhibition Runs: 07 June - 30 June 2019
Andrea McIlhatton Cardow is a Glasgow based artist who works predominantly in screenprints. Her work focuses on solitary figures, often female. The images she creates convey sensations of beauty, stillness, silence and isolation, capturing a hidden depth within the subject. She takes inspiration from post-punk, 70s Germany and French psychedelic pop combining this with classic film noir and 1920s Hollywood.
