STEM Ambassador opportunities

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from industry and academia with a passion for STEM that can bring their expertise to help pupils and teachers in the classroom.  If you are interested in becoming a STEM ambassador then see the Science Connects webpage for more information.

If you are already an Ambassador and want to get involved with Glasgow Science Festival then there are various opportunities throughout the year.  A great and easy way to get involved is by supporting the Creating ‌Engineers K'nex Challenge.  This engineering contest for primary schools challenges pupils to use their creative engineering skills to complete various challenges and progress through the competition. Schools across the West of Scotland require help running the contest in their classrooms, we also need judges at various stages of the contest.  You can find out more about the contest in the Creating Engineers - K'nex challenge section.

Glasgow Science Festival has also been involved in developing free training to support STEM Ambassadors. Find out more
