There is increasing pressure on universities to provide work-related learning either in the broader student experience or as a formal credit-bearing component. Placements and volunteering in a work setting offer valuable development of Graduate Attributes, and The Hunterian has been a provider of such opportunities for some years. In this session you will hear from the supervisors and the student participants of 3 case studies: Experiences, challenges and benefits to both host and student. One example began before the pandemic and two are current, allowing us to address issues and questions around remote placements.
This session is open to staff of the University of Glasgow. For the avoidance of doubt as to eligibility, it would be helpful if you could please register using your staff email address.
