The Knowledge Exchange & Public Engagement Celebration event, which is focused around our annual awards, provides an opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate partnerships and initiatives driven by University staff and external partners which deliver world-changing impact. Colleagues who have been shortlisted will be presenting, giving you an opportunity to hear about their project, the challenges and the successes.

As well as hearing from our colleagues we have also invited a Keynote speaker, Jane Davis MBE. Jane is the Founder and Director of the national charity, The Reader, an organisation that believes in the power of literature to change lives.  Jane established The Reader whilst working as a University Teacher at the University of Liverpool and is now full-time with the charity. Through her experience of setting up The Reader Jane has worked with a range of external partners and is passionate about the importance of community engagement and what that means in practice.

There will also be an opportunity to network with colleagues and external partners.
