In 2017/18 we are celebrating 50 years since the Bachelor of Accounting Degree (BAcc) welcomed its first students. Since that time, the BAcc. has continuously evolved to meet the high expectations of our students and the demands of modern business. We now have nearly 4000 undergraduate students from all over the world. And we offer five variants of the BAcc enabling students to combine their interest in accounting with an interest in languages or finance for example.
What hasn’t changed however is the strong affiliation our undergraduates and alumni feel for the BAcc and the University of Glasgow. Many students keep in touch with each other and with us after they graduate. We value this contact and the relationships we have with students past and present.
On 15 September 2018 we are holding a celebration dinner and tickets will go on sale in the spring of 2018. This is a terrific opportunity to come back to the University and enjoy a convivial evening in the company of fellow BAccs and their guests. We look forward to welcoming you there.
