Board of Studies

The MA Social Sciences Board of Studies is the main decision-making body for the degree programme. It has two purposes:

  1. To discuss, advise and make recommendations on all matters relating to the MA Social Sciences (MA SocSci) taught provision including learning, teaching, assessment, embedded and extracurricular student experience provision including advising, transition and employability.
  2. To consider, monitor, review, enhance and maintain academic standards and the quality enhancement and assurance of educational provision on the programme.

All changes to the programme, including single and joint honours plan combinations for the core social science subjects (except for the LLB and AccFin), are subject to approval by this Board in line with College of Social Sciences policies and guidelines.

Further information will be posted in due course.
