New course in 2025/26: UK Youth Poll
The John Smith Centre has developed a new honours course, which runs in semester 2, exclusively for students on the MA Social Sciences. The Youth Poll UK is a high profile annual poll of young people in the UK. The Centre is running a course (SPS4013) that will allow you to get involved in designing, managing and promoting the poll.
By enrolling in the course you will gain experience and skills in running a polling project and conducting survey research. This is a unique opportunity to shape the national conversation about young people's political opinions and priorities in the UK. You can find more information on the John Smith Centre website.
This course can be counted as Politics, Sociology or Social and Public Policy credits, but is also open to Single Honours students studying any other core social science subject as an outside option.
