Researcher Development Programme Courses

Researcher Development Programme Courses

The University has a comprehensive training programme designed to support you through you research project and to help you develop a broader set of transferable skills that will prepare you for careers in academic and non-academic sectors.

It is essential that you think carefully about which training and professional development opportunities will best support your particular research project and your particular career aspirations. You should discuss your plans and training requirements with your supervisor regularly and record these discussions in your Training Needs Assessment and Training and Development Log.  You will be required to submit this as part of your Annual Progress Review.

Each course offered relates to one of the four sections of the Researcher Development Framework.

Most Researcher Development courses offered by the University of Glasgow are available for enrolment via your MyGlasgow account. Researcher Development Course Enrolment Guidelines are available to assist with enrolling onto courses. Dates and locations for each course will be detailed when you enrol via MyGlasgow.

If you have any questions about our Researcher Development Programme please contact the College Employability Officer.
