Research vision

Currently I am developing new tools to reduce the costs of RNA therapeutics manufacturing utilizing biochemistry, directed evolution and fluorescent RNA aptamers. Through development of new RNA synthesising enzymes with enhanced properties, I aim to reduce the time for RNA synthesis and increase the quality of the final product. This will allow to cut down the price of RNA medicines and make it affordable for patients world-wide.

During my career, I have been focusing on developing new tools and methodologies to speed up research and to offer society new ways of achieving goals. I am very passionate about improving and optimising techniques and finding innovative ways to reach previously unachievable goals. In the future, I would like to make great impact and deliver game-changing tools to the community.

Expectations from collaboration

I am looking for industrial and academic partners working on in vitro transcription and development of RNA therapeutics. I am keen on finding collaborators who have up and running methodologies of RNA characterisation and evaluation of transcription and translation efficiencies: error-rate, fidelity, processivity, immunogenicity, etc.

 I am more than happy to share my knowledge and expertise in areas of protein engineering, directed protein evolution, protein purification and characterisation, multi-part DNA assemblies, complex cloning, multiplex PCR, in vitro assays development, high-throughput screening and DNA transposition.
