The Graduate School is offering a new programme of development sessions for postgraduate supervisors. This programme has been designed so that it’s not just useful for new supervisors, but also experienced supervisors who want to refresh their skills.
Information about this programme is available in the Supervisor Development Brochure which includes:
- Links to useful online references and training
- A list of currently planned workshops and seminars
- Frequently asked questions, such as advice on progression, funding, helping your student develop their skills and supporting your student when they are having difficulties.
The following training sessions are available to book (please check the Eventbrite links for full descriptions):
Supervising Successful Students: Managing Expectations, Working Towards Completion and Dealing With Difficulties
6th March, 2.00-5.00pm – Delivered by Dr Steve Hutchinson, a very experienced trainer
