ScotPEN Wellcome Engagement Award

The Scottish Public Engagement Network (ScotPEN) is co-ordinating a new 18 month pilot award to help Wellcome grant holders engage the public with their research.

Wellcome have awarded £500,000 to support this Scottish funding pilot designed to improve the number and quality of successful research engagement projects and increase opportunities for institutional collaborations. Wellcome grant holders may apply for between £5,000 and £100,000 with post-docs and PhD students eligible as named co-applicants. 

Applications to the ScotPEN Wellcome Engagement Award first call closed on Friday 25 October 2019.

ScotPEN Wellcome Engagement Award second call is now open  - closing date 18 March 2020.

University of Glasgow applications must be received by MVLS Engagement team by 9 March 2020.
