Evaluation of Engagement
MVLS believes that well planned engagement activity provides opportunities for learning as well as for sharing our research. Thinking about evaluation and feedback early in the process can be helpful in clarifying the aims of your project or event, and how you will measure its success. Most funders now expect engagement to be evaluated, so the evidence you collect can contribute to accountability and demonstrating impact as well as helping you improve your activities for the future.
Evaluation should be proportionate to the style and ambition of your engagement and doesn’t have to be an onerous task involving long questionnaires.
New MVLS Evaluation Guidance is in development but in the meantime we hope the information below is helpful and encourage you to contact the MVLS Engagement team if you have specific enquiries.
