Glasgow Polyomics under new management

Glasgow Polyomics are delighted to announce Dr Sarah Henry as the new manager. Dr Henry joins Glasgow Polyomics from Scottish Enterprise where she was working with companies to develop research projects, identify suitable funding, and secure investment.

Professor Mike Barrett, Director of Glasgow Polyomics and Professor in Biochemical Parasitology, Institute of Infection, Inflammation and Immunity said: “Appointing Sarah, with her background in biomedical research and strong links to business through Scottish Enterprise, offers fantastic opportunities to bring our expertise to a new generation of collaborators and partners whilst sustaining the great links we have already made in Glasgow”.

Glasgow Polyomics provides next generation sequencing, metabolomics and proteomics services as well as bioinformatic analysis and statistical modelling to translate raw data to a meaningful output.

Dr Henry said: “I am delighted to be managing a world class multi-omics facility and excited to drive the development of innovative techniques so that Glasgow Polyomics can continue to grow as an integral facility for the University, consistent with the ambitious new expansion plans for world-leading research at Glasgow”.
