MVLS Translational Research Initiative – Impact and Innovation

The University of Glasgow’s Translational Research Initiative (TRI) is driving the translation of our biomedical and life sciences research.  TRI provides coordinated access to £1M of funding from MRC and BBSRC, aimed at driving translational impact. Logos of MRC and BBSRC

Funding is available for:

Talent Mobility
Applications are invited for visits and exchanges via the Impact Accelerator Award and the Proximity to Discovery Award. Participation in such schemes should enhance a researcher’s skills, knowledge exchange and collaboration.  The funds also support industry costs when visiting the University of Glasgow.

Partnership Development Funds
Funding available to increase the quality of our engagement with industry, government and third sector partners to inform academics on sector needs and create co-working opportunities to accelerate impact.

These flexible funds are available via a rolling deadline open call and are targeted at building relationships around specific projects and/or identifying future opportunities.
