Scotland’s Deputy First Minister visits ICE

On 26th February 2019, Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak hosted Mr John Swinney, Deputy First Minister of Scotland on a visit to the University of Glasgow’s clinical academic campus at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Mr John Brown, Chair of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Dr Stuart Fancey, Director of the Scottish Funding Council, also participated in the visit.

Mr Swinney visited the Imaging Centre of Excellence (ICE), home to the first 7T MRI scanner in the UK in a clinical setting, and the Clinical Innovation Zone, home to Stratified Medicine Scotland – Innovation Centre, which is already attracting industry partners from Europe and the USA.
