MVLS wins four Herald Higher Education Awards

The College won four awards in the prestigious Herald Higher Education Awards 2017:Image of MVLS colleagues in black tie celebrating at awards ceremony

  • Enhancing Student Learning Award for the Closing the Feedback Loop project (School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing);
  • Outstanding Contribution to the Local Community for its Chasing the Waves theatre show (School of Life Sciences);
  • Innovation Technology Excellence Award for the ViRES project (School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing);
  • The Institute of Molecular, Cell and Systems Biology shared Research project of the Year with the University of the West of Scotland for "Nanokicking"

In addition, the University of Glasgow received the main prize at the Herald Higher Education Awards. For the third year running, the University was presented with the overall Higher Education Institution of the Year award.
