Nurturing future Molecular Pathology World Changers

The training strand of MRC/EPSRC Glasgow Molecular Pathology Node hosted a series of events involving the future “molecular” pathologists and clinical scientists in University of Glasgow Molecular Pathology Node logoGlasgow and across Scotland. Facilitated by the new highly-collaborative UoG-NHS interdisciplinary team, Blended Online PgCert Molecular Pathology has been delivered for the first time including Glasgow-Edinburgh Cross-Node Masters presentation. Quarterly teleconferences, organized by the Node Training Network team, Dr Karin Oien (Institute of Cancer Sciences), Dr Tomoko Iwata (School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing) and Dr Ruth McLaughlin (Node Manager), reach UK-wide Node collaborators. The Laboratory Medicine Grand Rounds and Glasgow Liquid Biopsy Interest group now regularly involve industry participants, contributing to the new innovative environment. Read more.
