Professor Mark Richards delivers Bronte-Stewart Memorial Lecture

The College was honoured to welcome Professor Mark Richards, Professor in Medicine and Director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute, National University of Singapore, to deliver the Bronte-Stewart Memorial Lecture on 31st August 2018.
Professor Richards reminisced fondly about his time as a researcher in Glasgow before presenting “A Peptide’s Progress: from biological curiosity to biomarkers with global impact”, sharing his pioneering work in the biology and clinical application of cardiac natriuretic peptides.
Professor Richards commented: “I am delighted to be back in Glasgow and have greatly enjoyed seeing the amazing campus developments”.
