MVLS welcomes Innovate UK Interim Executive Chair

Dr Ian Campbell, Interim Executive Chair of Innovate UK, visited the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus on 30th August 2018 to hear first-hand from Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak, Head of College, about the “triple helix” partnership between the University of Glasgow, NHS GGC and industry partners.

Professor Keith Muir, SINAPSE Chair of Clinical Imaging, Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology, hosted a tour of the Imaging Centre of Excellence, including the 7 Tesla MRI scanner and the MRI coil laboratory. Dr Campbell also met with industry collaborators located within the Clinical Innovation Zone, including Dr Harper VanSteenhouse, General Manager of BioClavis (pictured left) and Ms Susan Ramonat, Chief Executive of Spiritus Partners.
